FMB
The Federation of Master Builders (FMB) is the largest trade association in the UK building industry, representing around 10,500 building companies. Established in 1941 to protect the interests of small and medium-sized building firms, the FMB is independent and non-profit-making, lobbying continuously for members’ interests at both national and local levels.
UK Green Building Council
The UK Green Building Council is a membership organisation that is campaigning for a sustainable built environment – one that minimises negative environmental impacts while maximising benefits for people everywhere. That means we are concerned with homes and nondomestic buildings, both new and existing, and the infrastructure that binds them together. Launched in 2007 to offer clarity, cohesion and leadership to a disparate sector, we bring together anyone involved in the complex process of planning, designing, constructing, maintaining and operating buildings.
Civil Engineering Contractors Association
The Civil Engineering Contractors Association is the representative body for the UK’s civil engineering contractors, with currently over 300 members covering around 80% of the civil engineering market in Great Britain. Based on three core principles of leadership, representation and service, we promote the positive contribution that infrastructure makes to the country, providing a basis for economic sustainability and quality of life, as well as laying the foundations for economic growth in the future. CECA also provides a range of resources and information for members.
