The Construction Products Association represents 85% by value of all manufacturers and suppliers of construction products in the UK, including the largest companies in the industry, as well as 43 sector trade associations. Collectively, the industry provides 15% of goods manufactured in this country. The Association acts as a single voice to promote and campaign for the construction product manufacturers and suppliers in order to support a growing and profitable industry.
The Association produces the Construction Industry Forecasts, a report which provides an analysis of the pressures facing the industry and drivers likely to affect it over the next five years. The forecasts contain detailed output projections for the industry’s major sectors, including public and private housing, offices, retail, health, education, infrastructure, industrial and repair and maintenance. A detailed Construction Industry Forecast report is published annually in October and summary forecasts are published quarterly in April, July and December.
